Blip DocsQuick Start: Launch your first ads with Blip
A complete, start-to-finish walkthrough — from connecting Meta to publishing your first batch of ads.
Welcome to Blip, the simplest way to bulk-launch Meta ads. This guide takes you all the way from a brand-new account to your first live ad batch. If you can use Meta Ads Manager, you can use Blip — most of the work is a one-time setup you'll never have to repeat.
Blip is a Meta Verified Tech Partner and connects using Meta's official access tokens and APIs. There's no browser automation or workaround involved, so you launch inside Meta's platform guidelines.
What you'll accomplish
- Connect Blip to your Meta account and choose an ad account
- Set up that ad account's preferences once so they auto-load every time
- Upload creative and publish your first batch of ads
Step 1 — Start your trial and connect Meta
Head to withblip.com and start your free 7-day trial (no credit card required). When you first log in, you'll connect your Meta account so Blip can see the ad accounts, Pages, and campaigns you already work with.
Once connected, the ad accounts available on your plan appear in Blip's account selector. Everything you do in Blip happens in the context of a single selected ad account.
Step 2 — Set up preferences for your ad account
Before your first launch, spend a few minutes in Preferences (found in the top navbar). Every ad account has its own unique preferences that load automatically whenever you select it on the launcher screen. Setting them up once means you never re-enter the same settings again.
At minimum, set up the following. Each links to a full walkthrough:
- Link your default Facebook and Instagram Page to run ads from.
- Create your first copy template — a saved group of primary text and headline variants. You can import copy that's already live in your account to build this fast.
- Define your ad naming convention using dynamic and custom variables.
- Set a default landing page link and UTM parameters (both can be imported from your active ads).
- Choose a default call-to-action button.
- Toggle the Advantage+ creative enhancements you want on by default.
If a teammate has already set up an ad account, you don't have to repeat any of this — you can sync preferences with your team and inherit their settings instantly.
Step 3 — Open the launcher and load your account
Go to the launcher page (Blip's main screen) and select the ad account you just configured. Instantly, all of your preferences load into the launch panel on the left: your Pages, naming conventions, copy template with up to five primary-text and headline variants, landing page, call to action, and creative enhancements.
Step 4 — Choose where the ads will go
Pick your destination campaign and ad set. You have three options:
- Existing campaign and ad set — launch straight into what's already running.
- New ad set — duplicate an existing ad set "shell" to inherit its audience targeting and settings, then rename it.
- New campaign — duplicate an existing campaign and its ad sets; the ad set level comes over empty so you can drop fresh ads in.
See Launching into campaigns & ad sets for the full detail.
Step 5 — Upload your creative
Click into the upload area and choose a source: your desktop, a Google Drive or Dropbox folder, a CSV/Google Sheet template, or media already in your Ads Manager library. Blip can even pull directly from an Instagram profile. Full detail lives in Uploading media & choosing sources.
Step 6 — Review and launch
Confirm your ad names, copy, landing page, and creative enhancements look right. Decide whether to launch ads active or paused using the ad status control at the bottom of the launcher, then publish. That's it — your batch goes live in Meta.
New to bulk launching? Launch your first batch paused so you can eyeball everything in Ads Manager before it starts spending.
